TO STORYTIME QUARTET
Presenting an engaging and interactive children’s concert series! Our elementary school programs are an exciting blend of classical and world music with narrated storytelling and history lessons.
For grades K-3, beloved children’s fairytales from Hans Christian Andersen, the Brothers Grimm and Aesop’s Fables come to life with live string quartet music from famous composers such as Beethoven, Debussy, Schubert and many others. Colorful illustrations also enhance the storytelling experience.
Your 4th and 5th graders can enjoy our World Music Dance Program or our History of Broadway Musicals, led by an all-star cast of professional New York City actors and dancers.
During each program, both narrator and quartet members collaborate with teachers and students to learn about morals of stories, world music idioms, timeless classical music and renowned theater productions. Audiences are invited to ask questions, recognize thematic materials and story plots as well as dance and sing -a-long to many of the songs they learn. In addition, the string quartet and its specific instruments are explored and discussed in a fun Q&A segment.
Storytime Quartet is looking forward to share our storytelling, song and dance programs for your school assemblies, library concerts and arts festivals.
